After having our lives and PC’s burned and interrupted by Spyware programs in the past, we decided enough was enough. ASD was created to counter and educate the masses on all the latest threats from malicious software. Thoughts race through your mind about all the sensitive data you have type in your PC…credit cards, social security, drivers license, address, etc…all could be compromised. Spyware’s potential threat is immeasurable. The effects can range from a simply annoyance such as Popup Ads all the way to more serious crimes such as wire fraud and/or identity theft. Certain malicious programs have the ability to log keystrokes meaning your credit card, social security or bank account numbers could be compromised.
